Midwayers, or midway creatures, appear on most inhabited worlds. They exist and function in the realm “midway” between human and angel. There are two types: Primary (more spiritual) and Secondary (more material), each created differently. They are regarded as permanent inhabitants of their worlds. Their work is varied and diverse, and they serve for long periods, eventually being released as ascending Sons of God in the age of Light and Life.
