The term Adamic can refer to either the regime of Adam and Eve on Urantia or to the Planetary Adams (Material Sons) in general. In other instances, it refers to their progeny on inhabited worlds—the violet race.

The Adamic default refers to the fall of Adam and Eve while in the first Garden of Eden. It began with the default of Eve, who was deceived by Caligastia's intrigues, thereby violating the divine plan. This fateful event occurred 117 years after their arrival (almost 38,000 years ago).
