Cherubim and sanobim are the lowest order of angels in a local universe. They are functionally united and usually work in pairs. They serve as assistants to the seraphim, being routine spirit workers on the inhabited planets. Every 4th cherubim and sanobim are quasi-material, resembling the morontia existence and near of kin to the more progressive types of human beings.
