Cosmic consciousness implies an awareness of the true nature of the cosmos, which includes not only a grasp of the physical nature of the universe but also of its mindal and spiritual natures. It is also an awareness of celestial beings and their relationships within the universe. And it implies some notion of the divine purpose of cosmic evolution as well as the recognition that God is the First Cause of all reality.
