Dispensation

A planetary dispensation is a time period that begins and ends with the arrival of a divine Son of planetary service. In other words, a divine Son inaugurates a new period and, at the same time, terminates the old one. Dispensations can vary considerably in length, depending on the particular circumstances of a planet. At the end of a dispensation, all sleeping survivors are resurrected and a new planetary era begins. See Paper 52.
