Hinduism is one of the oldest religions and now embraces a broad range of Indian religious and spiritual traditions. Common ground is often found in Dharma, a cosmic order as expounded in the ancient writings of the Vedas. Hinduism has no central authority, and many Hindus do not claim to belong to any denomination. Hindus are people who religiously adhere to Hinduism, but the term is often used in a cultural and geographic context. See Hinduism.
