Ikhnaton

Ikhnaton (Akhenaten) was an Egyptian pharaoh who reigned circa 1353–1336 BC. Through the influence of the Melchizedek teachings, he abandoned the polytheistic religion of Egypt and introduced a new religion centered on the worship of Aton (Aten), the Sun God, as the One God. But his teachings were too advanced, and his work was undone after his death. Twelve of his hymns are in the Book of Psalms. See Paper 95, The Remarkable Ikhnaton.
