Immanence

Immanence is the theory that God is involved in the lives of people and the workings of the universe—that the divine is present in the material world. Contrast this with the theory of transcendence, in which the divine is outside the material world—God is above and beyond the created universe—not limited by time, space, or any aspect. The Urantia Book claims both notions are correct—they are two essential concepts of Deity.
