Mount Gilboa forms part of a mountain range between southern Galilee and northern Samaria, just southwest of the Greek city of Scythopolis. See Map. This is the site where, years ago, King Saul was defeated by the Philistines. Jesus made camp on the slopes of Gilboa for two months, taking time to teach the apostles the truths of the kingdom. See At Gilboa and in the Decapolis.
