Lanonandeks are the third order of the local universe Sons of God. They are divided into primary, secondary, and tertiary orders. The primary Sons serve as System Sovereigns, the secondary as Planetary Princes, and the tertiary function in subordinate and assistant roles.

A legion of angels consists of almost 500,000 individual angels. Twelve legions equals one host of angels, almost six million individuals.

Life Carriers are local universe Sons of God who formulate and establish physical life on the evolving worlds. They are permitted to manipulate the life environment and favorably affect the course of biologic evolution until the appearance of the first humans. Afterwards, they may choose to remain on the planet as future advisers.

Life experiment worlds, also known as life-modification worlds or decimal planets, are inhabited worlds on which the Life Carriers are allowed to modify and improve the standard Nebadon life designs. Every tenth planet, including Urantia, is a life-modification world. In Nebadon, these worlds are linked together and constitute a special domain of universe affairs.

Life plasm or germ plasm are terms (now obsolete) used in The Urantia Book for inheritable genetic material. We may loosely think of it as DNA and RNA. A local universe is the creation of a Creator Son (Michael Son) and a Creative Daughter (Mother Spirit). Eventually, each local universe will include 10 million inhabited planets. There are 100,000 local universes in a superuniverse. Our local universe is Nebadon and its capital world is Salvington. Its sovereign is Michael of Nebadon.

The local universe Sons of God include Melchizedek Sons, Vorondadek Sons, Lanonandek Sons, and the Life Carriers. See Paper 35 and Paper 36.

Lucifer was a primary Lanonandek Son of Nebadon who once ruled our local system of Satania as the System Sovereign.
