Local universe
A local universe is the creation of a Creator Son (Michael Son) and a Creative Daughter (Mother Spirit). Eventually, each local universe will include 10 million inhabited planets. There are 100,000 local universes in a superuniverse. Our local universe is Nebadon and its capital world is Salvington. Its sovereign is Michael of Nebadon.
Local Universe Mother Spirit
A Mother Spirit is a Daughter of the Infinite Spirit who works alongside a Creator Son in universe construction. During the physical creation of the universe, she is known as the impersonal Creative Spirit. But just before the life creation era, by the action of Paradise Deity, she becomes the personal Divine Minister or Mother...
Local Universe Sons of God
The local universe Sons of God include Melchizedek Sons, Vorondadek Sons, Lanonandek Sons, and the Life Carriers. See Paper 35 and Paper 36.
Lucifer
Lucifer was a primary Lanonandek Son of Nebadon who once ruled our local system of Satania as the System Sovereign. But 200,000 years ago, he rebelled against the universe authorities and was eventually deposed. Lucifer launched his orgy of darkness and death with his "Declaration of Liberty." See Papers 53 and 54.
Lucifer Rebellion
Lucifer was the ruler of our local system of inhabited planets. But 200,000 years ago, he rebelled against the Creator Son and all universe authorities, proclaiming himself the "God of liberty" (Paper 53). He swayed 37 planets over to his rebellion, and Urantia was one of them. The rebellion was finally terminated at the time...
Machiventa Melchizedek
Machiventa Melchizedek was incarnated on Urantia at the time of Abraham 4,000 years ago—this is the Melchizedek of the Bible, the "Sage of Salem." He came to Urantia when revealed truth was threatened with extinction. His mission was to regenerate religion on Urantia and maintain the light of truth. He is now the vicegerent Planetary...
Magadan
Magadan, or Magadan Park, was a recreational area on the NE shore of the Sea of Galilee. See Map. This area is now a nature reserve. Jesus used Magadan as a rendezvous point starting in August, AD 29 because it was safely outside the domain of Herod. Do not confuse with Magdala, which (still is)...
Magdala
In the time of Jesus, Magdala was a fishing village on the west shore of the Sea of Galilee. In his youth, Jesus went on fishing excursions here. Later, it became the home of his brother, Jude. It was also the home of Mary Magdalene, who was rescued by the evangelical women's corps.
Magisterial mission
Magisterial missions are spiritual missions carried out by Magisterial (Avonal) Sons. In the first visit, the Son is always incarnated as a material being, appearing as a full-fledged male of the mortal races (as Melchizedek did). He is fully visible and in physical contact with the mortals of his day and generation. A visitation of...
Magisterial Sons
Magisterial Sons, also known as Avonals, are Paradise Sons of God (Son-Spirit) who act as the high magistrates of the realms. They work to uplift the mortals of time through both magisterial missions and bestowal missions. They also adjudicate planetary dispensations during transition periods.
