Elijah was the second Hebrew prophet after Samuel. He restored the worship of the supreme Yahweh and the idea of the Universal Creator. John the Baptist was greatly impressed by the words of Elijah and emulated him in dress and preaching style. See Paper 97 and Paper 135.4. Elijah is now one of the 24 counselors on the Urantia advisory council of Jerusem.
