Nathaniel was the sixth and last of the apostles to be chosen by Jesus. When he joined, he was 25 and unmarried. He looked after the families of the apostles. His great virtue was that he was both honest and sincere. His weaknesses were his pride and personal prejudices. He was an odd genius, a philosopher, dreamer, humorist, and storyteller. He preached and died in India.
