Peter

Simon Peter was the second apostle and brother of Andrew. He was a fluent speaker, an effective preacher, and an inspirational leader. But he could also be impulsive, thoughtless, and capricious. After Jesus’ death, he helped to organize the church in Jerusalem. He was crucified in Rome in AD 67. For more on Peter, see Choosing the First Four Apostles.
