But The Urantia Book separates humans (even as Hominidae) from the simian group after the appearance of the “Primates” (as they define this group). The book also separates pre-existing “lemurs, gibbons, apes, and other monkeylike creatures” from the modern simians that evolved from the “mid-mammals” (Paper 62).
