The Brilliant Evening Stars are known as superangels. Some are created as Evening Stars while others are ascendant seraphim who have attained this high estate. They serve chiefly as liaison officers for Gabriel, the local universe chief executive. There are also unrevealed local universe superangels (see 39:8.1 and 45:1.6).

Caesarea-Philippi, also called Dan and known today as Banius, was a city in the Golan Heights about 60 km (37 mi) north of the Sea of Galilee and near the Jordan River. In Jesus' time, it was the capital city of the Batanea region and home to the ruling Tetrarch, Philip.

Celestial Artisans are the artists and artisans of the morontia and lower spirit realms. They are distributed throughout the grand universe, but their chief realm of activity is in the constellations. Any morontia personality or spirit entity is eligible for admission to the corps of celestial artisans.

The Celestial Guardians are officers of the courts of the Ancients of Days, functioning primarily as court messengers in the minor and major sectors.
